Found On Reverb: Richard Devine's Studio Console

Richard Devine—the modular synth enthusiast, producer of albums like 2018's Sort/Lave, and sound designer for everything from VST presets to Jaguar's electric cars—recently upgraded the console at his studio, giving Reverb users the opportunity to buy his old companion.

His trusty 2012 Yamaha DM2000VCM has been at the heart of his setup for years. Now, it—along with upgraded sound cards and the Argosy desk that housed it—is available on Reverb.

Devine told Electronic Musician in 2016 that the digital console was integral to recording his hardware instruments (of which, as fans of his YouTube channel will know, he has many):

"I’ve got a Yamaha DM2000VCM console, with all the synthesizers and drum machines, etc., routed into its 56 inputs, and that is connected to another computer that’s dedicated to instrument tracking."

On the mixer's Reverb listing, Devine says, "In excellent shape, everything is fully working and includes the meter bridge and also 8 cards with this bundle."

In addition, Devine is selling two 44" Sound Anchor monitor stands that he says no longer fit behind his new desk.
