Fender Unveils Latest Entry in Parallel Universe Series, the Tele Thinline Super Deluxe

Back at the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, Fender announced the brand-new Parallel Universe series—a line of Frankenstenian guitars made up of the best bits of classic models from the brand's expansive catalog. The series debuted with the release of the Meteora and the Jazz-Tele and Troublemaker have joined in the months since.

Fender Limited Edition Tele Thinline Super Deluxe

Yesterday, Fender released a fourth model from the Parallel Series, the Tele Thinline Super Deluxe. This model features a super light, semi-hollow Tele Thinline body married to an American Professional "Deep C"-shaped neck featuring a rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5-inch radius. Packed into the body, you'll find dual TV Jones Classic humbucking pickups and an American Professional Tele Deluxe hardtail bridge. The model is finished in bright orange with a striking, sparkly silver pickguard and is retailing for $1,999.99.
