So far, we've seen a lot of exciting new products hit the NAMM floor from a variety of beloved brands. But Epiphone may have just taken the cake with its announcement of the new Les Paul.
The Epiphone Les Paul SL is equipped with two single–coil "Epiphone Open Coil Humbuckers," and its '60s SlimTaper –D Profile hard maple neck is married to a lightweight poplar body. Oh, and it retails at $99.99, making it the least expensive Les Paul ever made.
And according to Reverb's own Dan O., it plays pretty nice, too.
Epiphone also announced a handful of other exciting models, including the previously announced Limited Edition James Bay "1966" Century, a few SG models, and a couple of exciting basses.
