Cooper FX's Generation Loss was originally released in 2016 and subsequently tweaked in 2017. Its combination of tape tone, vibrato, noise, and filter controls made it a perennial favorite for players looking for woozy, warped VHS tape sounds. New models have long been out of stock, and used pedals have remained sought-after.

Today, we're announcing a collaboration between Cooper FX and Chase Bliss that remakes Generation Loss into an even more unique creation. Exclusively on Reverb, you'll find the first and only 1,000 units of the Chase Bliss Audio/Cooper FX Limited-Edition Generation Loss.

The pedal brings together all of the original's lovely tape degradation sound with Chase Bliss' unparalleled level of tonal control.

You can now adjust the Wow and Flutter of the tape effect with individual knobs, a function some original users had wished was possible in the earlier model. The Wet knob allows you to find your perfect mix of your original and effected signal, and when using Chase Bliss' dip switches, you can assign this knob to adjust the ramp time of those other settings.

These new controls meet the sample-rate-reducing Gen knob—and high-pass and low-pass filters—of the original Generation Loss.

With the array of dip switches on the front of the pedal, you can fine-tune parameters, save and recall presets, and otherwise make this pedal your own.

Limited to one run of 1,000 pedals, get this Limited-Edition Generation Loss exclusively on Reverb now.
