A tenor model from the K-1 series that makes the most of the natural beauty of Hawaiian koa wood!
Kanile'a is a Hawaiian ukulele brand centered around master luthier Joseph Souza. They continue to create instruments with meticulous attention to detail, from wood processing to finishing, by incorporating their own unique techniques into traditional methods.
The "K-1T/NAT" is a tenor ukulele that uses standard-grade Hawaiian koa wood for its body.
The fretboard, bridge, headplate, and bridge pins are made of ebony. The headstock logo and position markers are made of white mother-of-pearl, resulting in a design primarily using koa and ebony.
It features original GOTOH tuners with ebony buttons and a UV Natural finish. This model allows you to enjoy the K-1 series' tonewood configuration in a tenor size.
*The image is a sample. Due to the nature of the product, the wood grain will vary from piece to piece.
