The BOSS TE-2 Tera Echo is a compact guitar effects pedal that creates huge, shimmering, spacey echoes and ambient textures that go well beyond a traditional delay. It has a distinctive, almost otherworldly sound: notes seem to bloom, shimmer, and trail off into swirling, evolving reverberations.

What does it sound like?

Think of a combination of delay, reverb, and a modulated ambient effect. Rather than simply repeating your notes at fixed intervals, the TE-2 creates a more fluid, spacious wash of sound that seems to move and change as you play.

• Shimmering and atmospheric: Creates expansive, dreamy soundscapes from even a single note.
• Swirling and modulated: Echoes have a moving, almost liquid quality.
• Rich and three-dimensional: Adds depth and space without necessarily burying your original guitar tone.
• Expressive and dynamic: The effect responds to your playing, making chords and individual notes bloom in interesting ways.
