Here for sale we have a modified ESP LTD SN-1000 FR electric guitar in Charcoal Metallic finish. Made in Korea in 2015, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including a Licensed Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge & sealed tuning machines. A pair of aftermarket active EMG pickups have been installed, with an 81 in the bridge & an 85 in the neck. These are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume & master tone controls, along with a mini-toggle kill switch. 

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand with the ‘Thin U’ neck profile feeling incredibly ergonomic, allowing for great thumb placement all across the neck, whilst the 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard and extra jumbo frets provide a robust playing experience that feels rock solid under the fingers, whilst enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The 13.77” provides an even and balanced feel across the strings, particularly in drop tunings. The contoured neck heel provides unobstructed access to the upper register, which works great with the double cutaway body design. 

Amplified, the pair of active EMG pickups deliver thick, heavy & crushing tones by the bucket-load. The 81 in the bridge is bright and snappy, and works brilliantly for rhythm playing and heavy riffing. The 85 in the neck is a little warmer, and delivers plenty of power to drive your melodic lines & solos to the front of the mix with ease. The pickups can of course handle a serious amount of gain, saturating into a searing distortion as you drive your amp. The controls are responsive, and the addition of a kill switch is a nice touch which allows you to get some cool stuttering effects.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. A mild indentation is present to the rear of the headstock, this can be seen under close scrutiny near the low E tuning machine.

Neck: Overall very good condition.Light indentation is apparent throughout the rear of the neck, most notably at the bass side behind the 7th fret & at the heel. Very light scratching is present to the rear of the neck across the register, these can only be seen under direct light and can not be felt in the playing position.

Body: Overall very good condition. Light finish cracking can be seen at either side of the neck pocket and to the front face near the tone control. These have been tested and present no structural concern. A moderate chip to the finish can be seen to the front face bass side of the tremolo cavity, exposing the wood beneath. Light to mild scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the front face at the bass side waist consistent with playwear..

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (spoke wheel) not included.

Hardware: Very good condition. Two Tremol-no systems have been installed in the rear cavity. These are not engaged and the tremolo functions as expected. 

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Electrics: 

Fully functional. The pickups have been replaced with an EMG 81/85 set. The original parts are not included. 

Case & Accessories:

ESP hardcase.

Good condition. Some of the case lining has torn, exposing the styrofoam inside. The exterior of the case shows light to mild wear & tearing of the tolex. Tremolo arm included. Truss rod tool not included.
