2026 Catalinbread Katzenkönig Limited Edition Fireworks Collection Fuzz Pedal

Catalinbread released only 25 pedals sold with this artwork.

Ready to make your tone POP? We've got just the ticket; they're not illegal in any state and won't scare your pets! We've taken inspiration from one of the most underrated and esoteric art families that exists: fireworks packaging. There's something so nostalgic about these graphics, and we've paired them with sounds from our most explosive devices. The fuse is lit, grab them while you can!

We combined the best elements of a Tone Bender Mkll fuzz with a Rat distortion to create something that sings like a fuzz but is tight like a distortion.

Katzenkönig loves humbuckers and single coils, your cranked amp, and your super-clean amp. The front half of the circuit is based on the Tone Bender MKIl, widely considered the most desirable of the Tone Benders. In the original, a germanium transistor makes the signal loud; a second transistor makes it very loud, and a third one makes it ridiculously loud. The filter control works wonders, enabling shades you'd never obtain from a Tone Bender MKII.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR TONE: With Input, Gain, Filter, and Volume controls, musicians can precisely shape their desired tone, perfect for everything from rock solos to blues.
RUGGED DURABILITY: The pedal boasts an all-metal chassis and a high-quality footswitch, offering robust durability that withstands the rigors of frequent gigs and rehearsals.
FLEXIBLE POWER OPTIONS: Designed for convenience, it operates on either a 9V battery or a 9V–18V external power supply, making it suitable for a variety of performance settings.
