Pre Owned Orange Fur Coat Silicon Fuzz Pedal with Octave Up Effect

Includes box

Excellent condition

The Orange Fur Coat Fuzz is a silicon fuzz pedal with a built-in octave-up effect, designed by Orange Amplification. It combines vintage-inspired fuzz tones with modern reliability and is intended for guitarists looking for everything from classic '60s fuzz to aggressive psychedelic and stoner rock sounds.

Key features

• 100% analog signal path using a silicon fuzz circuit.
• Octave-up effect that can be switched on or off independently of the fuzz.
• Volume control to set output level.
• Fuzz control for the amount of distortion and sustain.
• EQ control to shape the overall tone from darker to brighter.
• Octave footswitch lets you engage the octave-up effect while playing.
• Buffered bypass helps preserve signal strength over long cable runs.

Sound

The Fur Coat delivers:

• Thick, saturated fuzz with lots of sustain.
• Smooth, singing lead tones.
• Gritty vintage fuzz textures reminiscent of late-1960s psychedelic rock.
• Cutting octave-up leads when the octave circuit is engaged, similar to the classic octave fuzz sounds heard on recordings by players like Jimi Hendrix.

The octave effect works best:

• On the neck pickup.
• Above the 12th fret.
• With single-note lines rather than chords.
