This particular instrument is the "BTB805MS," which features a multi-scale design by the Ibanez Bass Workshop, with a 37-inch scale for the 5th string and a 35-inch scale for the 1st string.

The body features a wing body construction with a poplar burl top laminated with okoume wood and an ash back. The through-neck neck is a 5-piece construction of maple laminated with walnut wood, and carbon graphite is embedded within the neck to suppress warping, and combined with the pangapanga wood fingerboard, it produces a neck sound with a clear core in the midrange and a moderate breadth. In addition, stainless steel frets are used, resulting in a fast attack and bright, speedy sustain, allowing for precise phrasing.

This guitar features the original "T1" humbucker model with two separate coils, designed to deliver a sound with tight bass response, punchy midrange, and clear treble.
