Fender Vintera III Early '60s Bass VI with Gig Bag 2026 - 3 Color Sunburst
About this bass:
Weight: 9.2 pounds
This bass came directly from Fender to my supplier, it has never been sold retail, the protective cover is still on the pickguard. It was examined by factory authorized technicians, the only issue found was a broken soldier joint on the master volume knob. It was expertly repaired. When we polished the guitar we did not find any blemishes, dings or cracks, it is in mint condition.
Per agreement with Fender since this bass was not distributed through their dealer network there is a tiny used stamp on the back of the headstock and the last two digits of the stamped serial have been removed and a sticker with the serial number has been placed over the stamped number.
Here is what Fender says about the Vintera III Early '60s Bass VI:
The Fender® Vintera III series delivers meticulously crafted vintage recreations that capture the authentic look, feel, and tone of iconic Fender guitars from the '50s, '60s, and '70s.
The Vintera® III Early '60s Bass VI® features an alder body and a maple neck with rosewood fingerboard for classic Fender tone that's full of punch and clarity. The early '60s "C"-shape, 30" scale maple neck with 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard and vintage-tall frets provides supreme comfort and outstanding feel. At its heart, you'll find three vintage-style early '60s single-coil pickups that deliver all the deep and growling, rich and articulate tone that made Fender® famous. Other features include a vintage-style floating tremolo for expressive vibrato, individual on/off switches for each pickup, vintage-style Bass VI mute and vintage-style tuning machines for enhanced tuning stability.

FAQ, frequently asked questions
Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher? The instrument could be an overstock, discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.
Who refurbishes your instruments? All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized technician.
Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty? No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.
Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it? All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box. However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and getting bumped around during shipping. Also some players like to set up a new guitar to their own personal preferences.
