This is a vintage Gibson J-160E Custom acoustic-electric guitar from the mid 70's (should be 1973-1975 ish). The item pictured is the one you will receive. It has been tested and gone over by the experts at our shop. When a guitar is purchased from us it undergoes a final setup check before shipping to ensure it's playing optimally. It is then packed with care and shipped to your door! (But please be aware that it may need slight tweaks upon arrival due to weather differences, jostling during shipping, etc.). Please read the description carefully and check over all photos for condition and wear. We do our best to describe all items as best as possible and note any wear we find, but please be considerate that it is a used piece and it won’t be perfect (Unless noted as "Mint Condition" or "10/10" for condition). If you have any questions about this or any other piece of gear we have, please let us know and we'll be happy to help!

Condition Notes:
- Condition: 6/10
- Fret wear: The frets are pretty low and flat, which is common for 70's Gibsons. But it's playing very cleanly at the moment!
- Any wear of note: This guitar is in overall great shape and is fully functional, but has had some repairs and has some obvious players wear. There's a well repaired headstock break that appears to be pretty old, so it's settled in nicely and shouldn't be an issue or anything going forward. The neck joint now has a bolt installed and it's been notched out at the back heel slightly at the strap button for a cleaner and more stable fit of the bolt. The saddle is pretty low but it's playing like an absolute dream right now! Other than that, it just shows obvious and normal players wear you'd expect from a vintage or used guitar.
- General notes: This is truly an outstanding vintage Gibson acoustic! It's so lively and vibrant. It has an incredibly touch responsive feel and punchiness to it that makes it an utter blast to play. And the neck is a nice slimmer feel for an acoustic that's really easy to get around on. Tonally, it's got that gorgeous balanced midrange that allows it to fit into a band mix perfectly, while also standing so well on its own for solo performances. And to top it all off, it features a beautiful aesthetic! In a simple stunning Cherry Sunburst finish with a bound fretboard, classic trapezoid inlays and so much more! It's a truly stellar vintage piece that's begging to be played!
