Ludwig 6" and 8" Super Classic toms 4-ply shells

Thanks for looking! Please read through this description in order to get a full picture of what is being sold.
For sale is a set of 6" and 8" 4-ply "Super Classic" series toms from Ludwig. These are the thinner maple and poplar shells, the same series that Neil Peart played from 1985 until 1994.

Both toms:
- began life as 9" deep drums
- have been cut down by Precision Drum Co.
- have new "Blue Lagoon Sparkle" wrap, from Walopus Drum Company, applied by Precision Drum Co.
- have recut bearing edges, done by Precision Drum
- have a few holes that were plugged, and new holes drilled to accommodate smaller lugs, all done by...you guessed it...Precision Drum Co.!
- have Ludwig "Mini Classic" lugs
- have 2.3 mm hoops provided by Drum Factory Direct
- have Evans clear G2 batter (top) heads, and Evans clear G1 resonant (bottom) heads

The 8" tom originally had the "Modular" mount, and you can see the holes that were plugged from that former mount.

Obviously these are not museum/collector pieces. They are highly modified, non-original, and were made to reflect the small toms Neil was using for the Roll The Bones and Counterparts tours. Please feel free to ask any questions about these drums.
