The Ibanez TS7 Tube Screamer is a Tone-Lok series overdrive pedal introduced in 1999 as a modern evolution of the classic Tube Screamer platform. It delivers the familiar mid-focused overdrive associated with the TS808 and TS9 while adding a selectable Hot mode for increased gain and output. The pedal features the Tone-Lok recessed control design, allowing knobs to be pushed into the enclosure to help prevent accidental setting changes during transport or performance.
