Every premium electric guitar that enters our showroom undergoes a meticulous multi-point inspection and precision setup by our specialized luthiers here at The Guitar Sanctuary. Whether destined for high-profile tracking sessions or inspiring our Performance Academy stage artists, we ensure this instrument meets our rigorous standards for absolute playability, tuning stability, and tone.

Ideal For Gigging session players, modern worship guitarists, and studio tracking musicians who require seamless transitions between high-fidelity acoustic textures and high-output electric growl on a single instrument. Sonic Profile The best of both worlds. The unique combination of a bright maple top and a warm, flat mahogany back yields a punchy, mid-forward wood tone with stunning acoustic airiness and exceptional string definition. The Feel Undeniably comfortable. The classic PRS Wide Fat neck profile offers a substantial, reassuring handful without impeding fast horizontal navigation, while the lightweight hollow construction prevents stage fatigue. The Verdict Buy this if you want a visually striking, hybrid-voice workhorse that carves out its own distinct tonal lane, standing apart from the all-maple Hollowbody II or all-mahogany Standard variations.

The PRS SE Hollowbody I Piezo in fierce Orange Tiger Smokeburst marks a brilliant evolution in hybrid guitar design, delivering authentic acoustic depth and classic PRS electric bite in one exceptionally balanced instrument. What sets the Hollowbody I configuration completely apart from its siblings is its targeted tonewood configuration: it pairs a crisp, resonant maple top with a flat mahogany back and matching mahogany sides. This intentional design choice balances out the high-end snap of maple with the foundational midrange warmth and organic resonance of mahogany, offering a sonic footprint that sits perfectly between the bright focus of the Hollowbody II and the dark smoothness of the Hollowbody Standard.

Equipped with dual output capabilities, this guitar gives you total command over your sonic space. The electric side is powered by a set of PRS 58/15 "S" humbuckers, delivering vintage-voiced clarity, rich overtones, and plenty of punch when pushed into overdrive. Simultaneously, the onboard LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system captures the true, acoustic-style breath of the hollow body cavity. Thanks to the dual-jack design, you can route your magnetic signal straight to a tube amplifier while sending the pristine piezo acoustic signal directly to the front-of-house PA or an acoustic amp, or blend both signals into a massive, three-dimensional hybrid voice using the single mix control.

Finished in a deep, fiery Orange Tiger Smokeburst over a beautifully figured flame maple veneer, this instrument carries all the signature hallmarks that make Paul Reed Smith guitars legendary. From the iconic bird fingerboard inlays to the ultra-stable PRS adjustable stoptail piezo bridge, the SE Hollowbody I Piezo is an uncompromising tool built to streamline your rig while massively expanding your creative potential on stage and in the studio.
