The Performance 3 Guitar Capo

The Performance 3 is the culmination of years of designing, tweaking, and improving — but most importantly, listening to guitarists and their views on what a guitar capo should do. By combining G7th’s Unique Tension Control system with the groundbreaking ART® string pad mechanism, the Performance 3 delivers a near-perfect capo experience.

In Satin Black, the Performance 3 looks great with all types of guitar hardware.

Adaptive Radius Technology

The ART® system within the top bar of the Performance 3 capo mechanically adapts to the true curvature over your strings and fretboard, exerting even pressure across all strings. This helps deliver in-tune, buzz-free performance with maximum tuning stability and minimum possible tension in every position, on almost any guitar neck.

Unique Tension Control

By simply squeezing to attach and squeezing to release, the Performance 3 capo gives you intuitive control over the pressure placed on your strings. Whether used on an acoustic or electric guitar, it helps you stay in control while keeping your guitar in tune.

Internal Silicone Pads

Non-reactive, protective silicone pads are placed at every touchpoint to help keep your instrument’s finish safe during use.

Store on Your Guitar

Between songs, you can easily park the Performance 3 capo on the headstock or just behind the nut for quick and convenient access.

One-Handed Use

With a little practice, the Performance 3 can be moved with one hand between frets nearly as quickly as a spring capo, but with less need for frequent retuning.
