This Master Built ’58 Ash Stratocaster from Kyle McMillen has the feel of a late fifties workhorse that has lived on stages for decades. The lightweight ash body keeps it bright and responsive, and the heavy relic finish in faded and aged Chocolate 3 Tone Sunburst gives it the kind of character players connect with right away.

The flame quarter sawn maple neck has that soft V shape that fits naturally in the hand, with a smooth medium tint that feels broken in without being sticky. The compound radius and 6105 frets make it easy to dig in for bends and vibrato while still keeping the vintage personality of a fifties Strat.

Hand Wound Fat 50s bring out a clear and punchy voice with strong attack, sweet highs, and a warm low end that works for clean playing or pushed amps. The half blender control adds extra flexibility, letting you blend in tones that sit outside a standard five-way setup. Vintage style hardware, parchment guard, and the tweed case complete the build with classic Fender Custom Shop detail.

It is a lively, expressive Strat with a lot of attitude. Classic fifties feel, modern playability, and a finish that looks like it has already earned its place on a stage.
