Olivia's Vintage would like to present this set of Rickenbacker guitars that were purchased directly from their museum during the 1980s. The guitars themselves were built and finished in the 1960s, then completed by Rickenbacker in the '80s with mostly the parts that were current stock at that time. The Fireglo 365 was built in 1967 while the 370 and 375 were built in 1968. They all have checkerboard binding. They were all given sequential serial numbers with the letters used to represent the year they were built; HF 1186/HF 1187/GF 1188. They all have great playing necks with great frets while all electronics work and sound great. The original '80s hardshell cases that Rickenbacker paired with the 3 guitars are included.
All the parts used to complete the 1968 Mapleglo 370 are from the '80s with the exception of the earlier bridge. It's in EXCELLENT condition with some nicks + dings in a couple of areas; the top of the body on the upper bass side bout and and the back of the neck between the 12th-14th frets. Other than that, there is only very minor cosmetic blemishes.
The parts used to complete the 1967 Fireglo 365 are also from the 80s with the exception of the earlier bridge. The fretboard had also been re-fretted and oversprayed as the finish over the original '60s finish has a cloudy appearance. Under the blacklight, you can see "360" written on the top of the body just below the bridge. On the lower back of the headstock there is a hairline crack that runs from edge to edge across the walnut center strip and remains only a cosmetic issue. There is a very small chip in the finish near the tuning button for the high "E", a chip in the finish above the tuning peg for the "G" and some other very minor cosmetic blemishes. This guitar looks incredible with the brilliance of its original '60s Fireglo finish.
Like the other two, the parts used to complete the Mapleglo 375 are '80s stock, but with the exception of a 1968 wiring harness, '60's vibrato tailpiece and an earlier bridge. There is some binding shrinkage on the back edge of the body between the two cutaways and on the tapered edges of the sides. Other than that, there are only very minor cosmetic blemishes.
