Drums are in very good used condition and fully functional. They have wear and cosmetic blemishes from normal use. Chrome is clean without corrosion. Overall the "Blue Abalone" wrap looks great. This wrap is know for slight shrinkage that causes splits near the seams, and this kit is no exception. The largest split is at the seam on the bass drum, but it barely visible when the kit is set up. Small splits on two of the toms are mostly hidden by the rim. I got the kit about 20 years ago with these splits, and they have not changed much in that time. The drums were built in 1999 and have sequential serial numbers. I purchased this set from the original owner in about 2007.

Features 100% maple shells with reinforcement rings, STM suspension mounts, and True-pitch tuning rods. Brand new Aquarian Studio-X Coated heads installed on the toms, and new Evans G1 coated installed on the snare.
