The ultimate Ibanez Super 58 tone handwound by Guitar Tech Craig. Made to original 1980's Super 58 specs. These have Alnico 3 magnets like the Made In Japan originals.
Super 58s are famous for having a sweet and clear tone that combines warmth and sparkle that is very vintage PAF sounding.
These pickups will have 2 height adjustment screws. Some originals had 3.
Specs shown duplicate the famous Ibanez pickup (made by Maxon or Fujigen).
Features:
4 conductor pickup hookup wire, allowing different wiring such as coil split, parallel coils, out of phase.
Humbucking pickups wound at around 7.8k ohms on my multimeter at 70 degrees farenheit
Vintage 50 mm string spacing
Coils are lightly potted
Gold cover with gold pole screws
Alnico 3 magnets
Standard humbucker 2 screw height adjustment
Comes complete with height adjustment screws and springs.
