For sale is a pair of Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary 14” hi-hats in Excellent condition.
I bought these used on Reverb, and they look barely used. No cracks, keyholing, flea bites, or issues that I can see. They sound amazing: dark, cushy, controlled, musical, and very responsive, with no unpleasant ringing or harsh overtones.
These are exceptional handmade Turkish hi-hats, especially well suited for jazz, recording, acoustic music, and lower-volume playing. They have a soft closed sound, a warm chick, and a dark controlled wash when opened. Very musical and easy to blend into a mix.
The 30th Anniversary series is known for a darker, thinner, more complex sound, and these hats really deliver that character. They feel papery, organic, and expressive without being washy in an uncontrolled way.
Condition:
Excellent used condition. They appear barely used. No cracks, keyholing, flea bites, or known issues. Please see the photos and demo video for condition and sound.
