Pre-Owned 2021 PRS S2 Standard 22 Satin Black With Gig Bag

We just took in a winner of a guitar, this 2021 PRS S2 Standard 22 in Satin Black.  It's an American-made, stripped-down workhorse electric guitar built in the PRS Maryland factory. Known for its incredible resonance and understated, matte aesthetic, this all-mahogany guitar offers professional-tier USA build quality at a much more accessible price point than the PRS Core line.   But it's still super impressive.

A solid mahogany body featuring an asymmetric beveled top carve is paired with a mahogany set neck, resulting in a super resonant, toneful axe.  The ultra-thin satin nitrocellulose lacquer lets the wood breathe for maximum resonance and gives a smooth, fast feel to the neck.  The Standard 22 has a 25-inch scale length with a 10-inch radius rosewood fretboard, so you can bend to your heart's content without fretting out. The guitar features dots as opposed to birds for inlays, keeping it simple.  We noticed right off the bat how easy this guitar is to play.

We also noticed how great it sounds once plugged in.  Outfitted with proprietary PRS 58/15 "S" humbuckers, you get a powerful and punchy sound, so riffs will dominate, with the ability to clean up nicely for chord playing.  And when you go high for lead works, the tone stays strong, lending this guitar to soulful playing as well as shredding if need. The control layout features a master volume, a master tone pot with a push/pull coil-split feature for single-coil sounds, and a 3-way blade pickup selector switch.

Equipped with a molded PRS patented tremolo bridge and PRS low-mass locking tuners for exceptional tuning stability, you get high quality hardware at a great price point.

We love the Satin Black finish, which shows the wood grain nicely.  The guitar is in great condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  A gig bag is included.  If you're in the market for an American-made PRS S2 Standard 22, this one is hard to beat!
