Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul CM Electric Guitar in Satin Ebony finish. Made in the USA in 2015, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Maple top, ‘Rounded’ profile Maple neck and 22 fret unbound Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Gibson G-Force Tuning System, a Lightning Bar Tailpiece, and Chrome hardware. A single Gibson 61 Zebra Humbucker is fitted and is wired to a master volume, and a master tone control.
The Maple neck plays very well, with the ‘Rounded’ profile filling the hand without being cumbersome, promoting ergonomic thumb position and providing an articulate playing experience. The traditional 12" fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and smooth lead lines, making for a truly authentic yet refined Les Paul playing experience, whilst the wider fingerboard and Tektoid nut increases the playing area while still retaining the original string spacing. The thinner body makes this a supremely comfortable guitar, which makes playing for long periods of time an absolute breeze.
This guitar simply comes fitted with a single Gibson ’61 Zebra humbucker that is wired to a master volume and master tone control. The Gibson ’61 Zebra humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. This guitar truly is a unique celebration of its inventor's 100th birthday.
