Up for sale is my sE Electronics Voodoo VR1 passive ribbon microphone.

The VR1 is a very cool modern ribbon mic that gives you the smoothness and natural top-end control ribbons are known for, but with more extension and clarity than a lot of darker vintage-style ribbon mics. It’s great on guitar amps, brass, strings, drum rooms, overheads, percussion, piano, and any source where you want a full, natural tone without harshness.

This is a passive figure-8 ribbon microphone with an extended 20 Hz–18 kHz frequency response, so it can handle a wide range of studio duties. It also handles high SPL well, making it a solid choice for loud amps and energetic sources.

The mic has been used in a professional studio environment and has been handled carefully. It is fully functional and sounds as it should. Any cosmetic wear is minor and does not affect performance.
