Never gonna win a beauty contest - but she has a lot of pride!
This unit came in to the shop a few weeks back and was presented with the peg head needing some serious attention; the left side of the headstock was... missing, there was a long scratch on the top that looked at first to be a crack (and wasn't), the pickguard was curling at the edges, and, the bridge showed signs of lifting. Kind of reminded me of Dan Ackroyd in Trading Places - after his rough night in the slammer... a bit beat up but not down-and-out! We decided to put Humpty Dumpty back together again to give her another go at it. Happy we did for the tone and action are GREAT!!
- Repaired Headstock (structurally solid with "quick" finish job
- Reattached Bridge
- Pickguard ends are curling
- Scratch on top looks like a crack, yet is not
- No cracks on top, back or sides
- Action at 12th Fret: 2mm
- Lots of fret life left as well
