About This Listing

1977 Ibanez LP Copy 2351 Wine Red.  Pictures do not do this guitar justice.  Gibson Burstbucker pickups, New gold hardware (Gotoh, correct for the guitar).  Custom wiring using 2 knobs for humbucker / parallel / single coil switching.  Complete with excellent hardshell case.  Sure-Grip knobs.  Oversized strap buttons.

No holes drilled as part of the mods.  Possible to restore this to original specs.

This guitar stared out as a transitional model called a 2351 "fancy" with fancy engraved gold tailpiece.  The original parts come with the guitar, but the gold is badly worn.  The original pickguard, also included, was more curvy than standard (see 3rd photo).

No cracks, breaks or repairs, the guitar has some surface scratches and dings like a played instrument typically has.  But as a person who has been around guitars for 35+ years, this is one you'll want to play all the time.  The neck is extremely stable and a bit slimmer than a US made LP.  Frets are in very nice shape.  Overall, a great guitar from my collection.
