Gibson Angus Young SG Signature "Thunderstruck" Limited Edition (2009) – USA

For sale is a 2009 Gibson Angus Young SG Signature "Thunderstruck" Limited Edition, one of the most recognizable artist SG models Gibson has ever produced. This second-generation Angus Young Signature combines the legendary SG platform with distinctive appointments inspired by the AC/DC guitarist, creating an instrument that is equally desirable for collectors and players.

Unlike the earlier signature version, the Thunderstruck Edition features the iconic lightning bolt fingerboard inlays, the traditional Gibson crown headstock inlay, and a stopbar tailpiece, making it the preferred version for many players seeking the classic Angus Young look and feel.

The guitar remains in very good overall condition. There are only light pick scratches from normal playing and one small cosmetic ding on the right side of the body. Structurally, the instrument is healthy and plays exactly as it should.

Tonally, this guitar captures everything players expect from a great SG. The lightweight mahogany body and set-neck construction deliver explosive attack, rich upper mids, and exceptional sustain. Plugged straight into a Marshall amplifier with no pedals, it immediately produces the bright, cutting, and aggressive character closely associated with Angus Young's legendary AC/DC guitar tone—open, dynamic, and remarkably responsive to picking attack.

Whether you're an AC/DC fan, an SG enthusiast, or simply looking for a classic American rock guitar, this limited edition signature model offers outstanding playability while remaining an increasingly collectible Gibson artist instrument.
