Germanium Fuzz Pedal with Expanded Tone Bender Style Control
The Electro-Harmonix Bender Royale is a germanium fuzz pedal inspired by the classic Tone Bender MkIII, reworked with modern control options and extended tonal flexibility. It delivers everything from aggressive, gritty fuzz to thick, saturated sustain, making it a versatile choice for guitarists looking for vintage fuzz tones with added control. This pedal is designed for players who want classic character without being limited to traditional circuitry.

Three Transistor Germanium Circuit for Vintage Style Fuzz
At the core of the Bender Royale is a 3-transistor germanium circuit that produces the warm, dynamic response associated with classic fuzz pedals. It reacts naturally to playing dynamics and guitar volume changes, allowing for expressive control over gain and texture. This makes it suitable for everything from classic rock to experimental tones.

Expanded Tone Shaping with Bass and Treble Controls
Unlike traditional fuzz pedals with limited EQ, the Bender Royale includes both passive bass and active treble controls. This allows players to shape low-end response and high-frequency presence independently, making it easier to dial in tones for different guitars, amps, and musical styles.

FAT Switch and Clip Options for Tonal Variation
The FAT switch enhances low frequencies and low-mid response, adding thickness and weight to your tone. The clip switch changes the clipping structure, offering different distortion textures ranging from tighter fuzz to more open and aggressive sounds. These features expand the tonal range far beyond standard fuzz pedals.

Selectable Bias Modes for Different Character Responses
The pedal includes selectable germanium or LED diode biasing modes, allowing you to switch between softer, vintage-style compression and a more modern, aggressive response. This flexibility lets you tailor the feel and response of the fuzz to suit your playing style.

Blend Control for Parallel Fuzz and Clean Signal
The blend knob allows you to mix your clean guitar signal with the fuzz effect, creating a parallel processing setup. This helps maintain clarity and definition while still achieving heavy fuzz tones, making it useful for both rhythm and lead playing.

Flexible Footswitch Operation for Performance Control
The footswitch can be set for either momentary or latching operation, giving players more control during live performance. This allows for quick bursts of fuzz or sustained activation depending on your playing needs.
