The Gibson Custom 1962 ES-330 Reissue brings one of Gibson's most beloved fully hollow electric guitars back to life with remarkable vintage accuracy. Representing the refinements that arrived by the early 1960s, this Historic Collection model combines the airy resonance of the original ES-330 with the sleek feel and elegant appointments that made the 1962 version a standout among vintage Gibson enthusiasts.

Its fully hollow thinline body is crafted from three-ply maple/poplar/maple and remains true to the original design by omitting a center block entirely. That construction gives the ES-330 a naturally resonant voice with exceptional acoustic volume and responsiveness. Chords ring with warmth and complexity, while single notes bloom with a vocal-like quality that few electric guitars can match.

The dual Dogear P-90 pickups perfectly complement the guitar's lively construction. Their dynamic response rewards subtle playing while delivering the punch, growl, and harmonic richness that have made P-90s a favorite for generations. From vintage blues and roots music to classic rock, jazz, and Americana, the ES-330 covers an impressive range of tonal territory with remarkable authenticity.

The one-piece mahogany neck is carved to a SlimTaper 60s C profile, offering a fast, comfortable feel that encourages fluid movement across the fingerboard. A bound rosewood fretboard with period-correct small-block inlays and medium jumbo frets completes the classic playing experience, while vintage construction details ensure the guitar feels every bit as authentic as it looks.

The Vintage Burst VOS finish perfectly suits the timeless ES-330 silhouette. Combined with nickel hardware, black Dogear pickups, and a classic trapeze tailpiece, the softly aged appearance evokes a well-preserved original that has spent decades making music while retaining its beauty.

At Cream City Music, the ES-330 remains one of our favorite Gibson hollowbody designs. Its lightweight feel, rich acoustic resonance, and unmistakable P-90 character create an instrument that inspires creativity the moment you pick it up.
