If you're looking for something that sounds like an XK-5 but costs a lot less, this could be a great solution for you. The XK-3 absolutely sounds like the real thing. The newer model, the XK-5, is even better; but, it's also five grand.

I'm not a gigging musician, so this unit is kind of overkill for me. But the onboard tube amp sounds sweet, the keyboard splits so you can play both manuals (I set it so the "lower manual" part runs pedal sounds) and you can of course plug in a Leslie. Overall I've been very happy with it. Everything works great.

One caveat. If you're thinking of adding a lower manual to this, it will be hard to do. The lower manual from the XK-5 won't fit, they no longer make lower manuals for the XK-3, and used lower manuals for XK-3s are very hard to find as basically they've all been mated up with other XK-3s. So if having a dual manual is important to you, this probably won't work. But like I said, the keyboard split is very workable for most playing, for me at least.
