The SG-1600 is one of Yamaha's iconic models. Designed to compete with the best American guitars, it boasts exceptional build quality, with impeccable craftsmanship and finishes that made the reputation of Japanese workshops in the 80s – the "golden age of Yamaha."

This version is offered in its stunning Cherry Sunburst finish.

It features an ebony fingerboard, a noble wood offering precise attack, excellent definition, and remarkable playing comfort. The sustain is impressive thanks to its solid construction and the renowned Yamaha Sustain Plate bridge.

The two Yamaha humbuckers deliver a rich, powerful, and highly versatile sound: from warm cleans to thick overdrives, with an excellent balance between precision and character. And a beautiful tonal palette, notably thanks to the coil-splitting pickups (push/pull potentiometers).

Very good overall condition, "vintage" look, some signs of wear, scratches, frets in good condition: 6 to 6.5/10 (see photos for more details).
