For sale is a BOSS OS-2 OverDrive / Distortion pedal in very good overall condition.
The pedal is fully functional and works exactly as intended. This example remains completely original with no modifications, repairs, or circuit changes.
This pedal has never been abused, toured extensively, or subjected to heavy gigging. The pedal has been used exclusively in an indoor home-playing environment.
The Boss OS-2 is one of Boss's most versatile and underrated drive pedals, combining both overdrive and distortion in a single compact unit. This is an incredibly flexible pedal for a wide variety of musical styles.
The OS-2 has earned a loyal following among guitarists because it can cover a surprising amount of tonal ground. Whether you're looking for bluesy breakup, classic rock crunch, hard rock rhythm tones, or singing lead sounds, this pedal delivers a wide range of usable tones without taking up extra pedalboard space.
It pairs exceptionally well with quality tube amplifiers, including Fender and Mesa/Boogie amps. Used as a front-end boost or as a standalone gain pedal, the OS-2 can add clarity, sustain, and punch while still allowing the natural character of the amplifier to shine through. 👏
