Serek Metropolis 5 String

The Metropolis is one of the very first basses I designed and it is now back in full force featuring Alembic Activator pickups and an Alembic filter preamp. I am a huge fan of this sound and wanted to pay homage to one of my favorite bass brands and bass players.

This bass features a Mahogany body with a Zebrawood top. The neck is Roasted Maple with an Ebony fingerboard inlaid with Zebrawood and Brass. This bass has gold Hipshot Hardware, a Brass nut, and a magnetic Zebrawood control cavity cover.

The Activators are controlled by a Master Volume, Pan, and Filter knobs with a 2-position gain switch (0db/ 8db). Please watch the video demo to learn more and to hear what this bass is capable of!

This bass is awesome, plain and simple. It’s got some very superficial “scrapes” hear and there from being played, but nothing significant. Gigged a decent number of times, always delivers the goods. Gran this rare beast while it lasts!!! No returns on this item, I’m just a guy selling stuff I can’t afford to keep out of my apartment!
