Selling a complete, turn-key vintage 1970s Pearl President 5-piece drum kit bundle. This is a rare MIJ (Made in Japan) setup featuring four phenolic (composite) shells and one matching wood snare drum. Ready to play out of the box — includes all premium Sabian B8X cymbals, hardware stands, pedals, and drum throne shown in the photos.

A Note on Phenolic Sound Performance:
Phenolic shells are legendary among studio engineers and touring drummers for their incredible projection, crisp modern attack, and laser-focused low-end punch that effortlessly cuts through any mix. If you are unfamiliar with the unique acoustic advantages and highly sought-after collectible nature of vintage Pearl Phenolic drums, please do some research online before messaging. This is a high-performance studio/live kit, not a cheap beginner setup.

Condition & Customization Note:
The kit is in great vintage shape with clean shell chrome, original Battleship lugs, and gullwing spurs. Please note that this set appears to have been professionally refreshed/restored in a drum shop prior to my ownership (I purchased it in its current condition). The snare drum features a custom shop stamp and a builder’s/master's signature indicating it was customized. Cymbal stands are sturdy and like new. The vintage snare stand is fully functional but has surface rust. If you need any additional detailed photos of the stamp, signature, internal mufflers, or specific hardware/stands, please let me know and I will gladly take them for you.
