Here for sale we have an Ernie Ball Music Man Valentine Electric Guitar in Limited Edition Starry Night finish. Made in the USA in 2017, this guitar consists of an Ash body, a Roasted Figured Maple neck, and a 22-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include a Music Man Modern Hardtail bridge, Schaller M6-IND Locking tuners, and Chrome hardware. The pickups installed on this guitar are a Music Man Custom Wound Single Coil, and a Music Man Custom Wound Humbucker. These pickups are wired to a master volume (push/push gain boost), a master tone (push/push coil-split), and a three-way pickup selector. 

The Roasted Figured Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a profile closely resembling a 'C' shape. This neck profile and the satin finish provide a smooth and articulate playing experience up and down the neck. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 10” radius makes bending and vibrato techniques a breeze, whilst offering a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for quick lead lines. The medium jumbo frets enhance vibrato techniques at speed whilst also providing a rock-solid and smooth playing experience.

The Music Man Custom Wound Humbucker pickup in the neck provides the player with a thick, warm voicing, with a distinct top-end that is articulate and well-defined. The Music Man Custom Wound single-coil bridge pickup provides a fat and punchy Telecaster-like sound, making power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone. The middle position provides bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The added Push/Push 12db boost on the volume control is an incredibly handy tool for when you need your lead lines to cut through the mix, and the Push/Push coil-split on the tone control adds even more versatility.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light scuff markings and indentation are present to the tip of the headstock, these can be seen under close scrutiny.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Mild discoloration is present to the rear of the neck across the register, this is common with regular past use on open pore finished necks. All other aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light signs of past use.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (spoke wheel) not included.

Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the pickup covers consistent with past use. Mild fine scratching can be seen under direct light to the pick guard.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
