-----------------------------------

Since its debut at the NAMM Show 2020—the world’s largest guitar trade show—the EHB series has garnered explosive popularity.

Its lightweight, ergonomic design makes it easy to hold, making it ideal not only for live performances but also for practicing at home!!

~Features~

・Ergonomic body design

The EHB body design is based on ergonomics to ensure the guitar fits the player perfectly, whether playing standing or seated.

The horns are shaped to balance the body and neck while standing and to provide a comfortable grip, while the body curve on the high-string side is designed with a focus on fit and balance, especially when playing seated.

The body surface where the elbow rests features a contoured slope. Additionally, all body edges that come into contact with the body are finished with smooth rounded edges.

The back of the body is boldly cut to taper toward the low strings. This design enhances the fit during seated playing and is engineered with the viewing angle of the fingerboard inlays in mind.

Furthermore, to facilitate access to the high fret areas, the back of the horn on the treble side has been scooped out.

The body features chambering to allow for a more intuitive sense of its resonance.

By directly feeling the vibrations inside the body, much like a hollow-body guitar, the player can better recognize the sound they are producing.

This also contributes to a slight reduction in weight.

・5-piece Roasted Maple/Walnut neck with graphite reinforcement rods

This is the first Banez bass to feature a neck made of roasted maple.

The neck is constructed by combining heat-treated roasted maple with walnut. The heat treatment provides benefits such as dimensional stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resilience to temperature changes.

・Roasted Birdseye Maple Fretboard & Medium Stainless Steel

The fretboard features roasted birdseye maple, a heat-treated version of the unique birdseye maple wood known for its distinctive pattern.

・Luminescent Side Dot Inlay

The fretboard features luminescent side dot position markers.

・MR5HS mono rail bridge with adjustable string spacing saddles

We have adopted a newly developed, proprietary headless-specific bridge.

Tuning is performed by turning the bridge end. While the stiffness of this turning mechanism was a weakness in other manufacturers’ products, we have achieved smooth operation by combining our unique design with Teflon washers.

The saddles can be moved 1.5 mm to the left or right, allowing you to adjust the spacing between strings (string spacing) to your preference within the range of motion. This enables fine-tuning to suit your playing style.

・Newly designed headpieces for EHB

These are newly developed, proprietary headpieces.

You can easily set and release the strings by turning them from the back with a hex wrench.
