I bought this kit in 1982. It has been a working kit, not a museum piece. I played hundreds of gigs with this kit from Maine, to Knoxville, to Chicago. Boston and CBGB’s in New York. But it has been well cared for. 90% of hardware is original. The veneer seam on the floor tom needs to be reglued but otherwise veneers and shells are in very good condition. Shell interiors have original silver finish. No additional holes drilled. Kit comes with original Gretsch snare and 1966 vintage Ludwig snare. Based on my research the Gretsch "badge" is the "skinny sticks" version from the early 1960's. Drum sizes are 22x13, 16x15, 14x5.5, 14x5, 13x8.
