This is the TR-808 you saw before where the only thing holding you back from buying it was that it was a 240V unit.  Now I've professionally converted it to 120V operation with quality, quiet toroidal transformers and I've recapped the power supply.

Due to recent changes in Reverb's payout policies for high-value orders, my items priced over $2,000 are available for local pickup only. Thank you for your understanding.

The Roland TR-808 is the most iconic drum machine ever made, renowned for its deep, booming kick, crisp handclaps, and instantly recognizable analog rhythm sounds that shaped hip-hop, electro, house, and pop music. With its legendary groove, hands-on programming, and unparalleled influence on modern music production, the 808 remains one of the most sought-after and collectible drum machines of all time.

The drum machine is in good condition.  The start/stop button has been replaced with an aftermarket button and sits a little higher than the tap button.  The "9" step switch cap is a little crooked but works fine.

Prospective buyers are welcome to come try it out before purchasing. Local pickup is welcome and encouraged.  If being shipped, the instrument will be packed well and insured for the full purchase price, but this is a vintage electronic item, so all sales are as-is and final.
