This is an excellent, all original example of a Fender Musicmaster II in terms of condition, playability, and tone. This is the 22.5 inch short scale model. It retains its blue color when many Daphne Blue instruments have faded to green. The guitar shows light play wear with only a few blemishes as seen in the photos. The neck dates to September 9, 1965. This is one of the better playing Musicmaster IIs I've come across. The original case is included.
The Musicmaster II was introduced in 1964 as the long scale version of the Musicmaster. But, there were still some short scale Musicmaster IIs produced. The Musicmaster II has an alder body, maple neck, a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard, and one single coil pickup. It sounds strat like when played clean and has a warm compressed tone when overdriven.
