Vintage Early 1990's Zildjian A. Custom 14” Hi-Hat Top Cymbal - Light Weight - 872 grams -

Pre-Serial Stamp - (1992-1993) - Made in USA

This cymbal has a pre-serial number stamp, which means it was made prior to 1994, and the Zildjian A Custom line was introduced in 1992, so these were made sometime in 1992 or 1993. The 1st generation or early 90's A Custom Hi Hats were a little bit lighter than they are today, this one is 872g - most weigh 950 - 1050 grams these days. So these guys would be a little bit lower, slightly faster with a quicker attack and decay, than the slightly heavier A customs of today.

The Zildjian A Custom Hi-Hats are said to be "light, crisp, subtle, very colorful, with a delicate stick sound and a crisp "chick" sound"

The hi hat cymbal is in very good preowned vintage condition. No cracks, key-holing, damage or issues. The hi hat cymbal has some minor spots and scuffing on top, more scuffing and some fingerprints underneath. Brilliant Finish. The logos have been removed, but if you look really close, you can still faintly see the A Custom logos.
