The Waldorf Blofeld Keyboard is a 49-key digital synthesizer with the Blofeld engine (virtual analog, wavetable, and sample oscillators) in a metal chassis with an internal power supply (Black). Compared with the desktop module, it adds a playable keyboard, aftertouch, and 60 MB of non-volatile sample memory you can blend into synthesis.

Sound engine

Three oscillators per voice cover Q-style VA models, Microwave wavetables, and sample playback. Two multimode filters, drive stages, LFOs, envelopes, and a strong arpeggiator match the Blofeld module's architecture, while sample memory lets you add attacks, noise, or other layers that stay stored in the instrument.

Performance

The 49-key board is velocity- and aftertouch-sensitive, with pitch bend and mod wheels, octave buttons, a sustain pedal jack, and a freely programmable button. Stainless endless dials and a graphic display support live tweaks; MIDI In/Out and USB MIDI connect to the rest of the rig.
