The Waldorf Iridium Keyboard is a 49-key digital synthesizer with the Iridium / Quantum multi-engine sound set under a Fatar TP/8SK semi-weighted keyboard that transmits polyphonic aftertouch. The wider panel enables a one-knob-per-function layout plus six programmable Macro buttons for live control.
Playing surface
Polyphonic aftertouch lets each held key modulate independently, so you can swell or filter individual notes inside a chord. Pitch and mod wheels, latch mode, and Macro buttons sit beside the keys; the touchscreen still shows Mode pages (LFOs, oscillators, filters, mod, effects) for deeper edits.
Sound
Under the hood it shares the Quantum-compatible Iridium engine family: multiple digital oscillator types, digital filtering, and the same software platform path as Iridium Desktop for preset and OS continuity.
