Pork Pie Little Squealer Shell Pack Mid 2000’s - Red Lacquer
This was my first drum kit, and it's a good one. I bought it about six years ago when I was just getting started, and it taught me everything. Pork Pie makes a quality instrument even in their production line — this isn't a beginner kit dressed up with a fancy name. The shells are solid, the bearing edges are proper, and the hardware is built to last.
The finish is a deep red high-gloss lacquer — not a wrap, the wood grain actually shows through underneath the color. It looks rich and warm in person, and it photographs beautifully. Every drum has the silver "Little Squealer / Est. 1987" badge on it.
I held onto it thinking I might want a second kit around, but honestly it's been sitting wrapped in storage and that's not what a drum kit is for. It deserves to be played.
What's included:
24" bass drum, 13x10" rack tom, 16x16" floor tom, 14" maple snare drum (matching finish). All heads (Evans batter heads on toms, Remo on bass drum).
Condition is excellent — near flawless finish, minor hoop rash on the bass drum kick hoop only (totally normal, no wood damage).
Asking $950. Guitar Center has comparable Little Squealer kits priced at $1,100–$1,400.
