JV (Japanese Vintage) guitars and basses were the first Fender instruments produced outside the United States, under the direction of Dan Smith and company, manufactured only between 1982 and 1984. The build quality of these very first MIJ models astonished the music world: they were superior to the models created by Fullerton USA for many years. They are rare and deservedly sought after.

Vintage tones, perfect for blues, pop, and rock, it perfectly captures the spirit of the 60s. The pickups are bright, precise, and very expressive. With a slight crunch on the amp, it delivers a true vintage Strat tone. Compared to modern Strats, it saturates less easily, remains more open, and compresses less.

Very good overall condition for its age, "real vintage" look, played frets in good condition: 6/10, some signs of wear, scratches, etc. (see photos for details). Very playable.
