Beautiful super clean Fender Telecaster TL-52 TX-80 from Japan. Dates to Late 90s. Ash body finished in Butterscotch. Soft V neck, about .840" at the first fret. 1.00" at the 12th. Factory USA Texas Special pickups. Has a CRL switch, full size 250k pots, Switchcraft jack, NOS Cornell .05 cap and all cloth wiring. All slot head screws. Lacquer finish really shows the beautiful grain of the Swamp Ash body. Almost new condition, maybe 2 micro dings on the back that will not photograph, and barely noticeable wear in the neck pocket (pictured). Nice light one at 7lbs 4 oz. Comes with the original Fender gig bag.

Upgrades

The stock set of USA-Made Texas Special pickups have been replaced by a set of Fralin Hot Vintage Tele pickups which retail for $240. The Texas Special's are also included (pictured).

The vintage Fender style ashtray bridge was upgraded to a Gotoh BS-TC1S which features low sides on the ash tray and full brass barrel saddles. The original bridge is also included (pictured).
