2017 Heritage Super Eagle 18" Archtop

A full size archtop by Heritage from such a recent year is a rare sight. And here as the flagship 18” Super Eagle. Also unusual is the solid color, and black at that for a nice tuxedo look offset by gold hardware and white binding.

Condition / Setup Notes

Very Good; The guitar remains in nice shape, but black can be so unforgiving in that it shows everything. There’s light wear throughout, appropriate for a guitar this age that has been played. Some tarnishing of the pickup covers. The frets are in great shape, with only the slightest hints of wear on lower positions below the B string. Currently set up comfortably with string height about 5/64” to 4/64'“, and light relief.

This Super Eagle stands out as a fairly recent 2017 model, with most examples being from the 90s or early 2000s. The black tuxedo vibe is striking, and another detail that is rare among the Super and Golden Eagles out there. A great example of the flagship 18” archtop from Heritage.
