If you’re chasing those raw, early Zeppelin-style tones, the Supro Black Magick 1696RT gets frighteningly close.

Inspired by the heavily modified Supro combo used by Jimmy Page on a ton of classic early Led Zeppelin recordings, this amp delivers that thick, punchy grind with a ton of character and feel.

The Black Magick Reverb takes the original concept a step further with a tube-driven spring reverb, 2-band EQ, and a master volume, giving you way more flexibility without losing the amp’s vintage attitude. Cleans have a warm, gritty edge to them, and once you push it, it absolutely roars with harmonically rich overdrive and that signature Supro compression.

One of the coolest features is the dual-channel design—you can run the channels independently or bridge them together for even more gain, texture, and tonal shaping. It’s the kind of amp that reacts to every little change in your picking dynamics and guitar volume.

Whether you’re after classic blues-rock crunch, vintage garage tones, or those unmistakable early Zeppelin sounds from tracks like “Good Times Bad Times” and “Communication Breakdown,” this thing absolutely delivers the vibe.

A seriously inspiring amp with tons of personality and that unmistakable old-school Supro feel.
