Martin OMJM John Mayer signature lefty lefthanded LH

John Mayer has been playing Martin guitars for decades now, and his signature OMJM model is my current pick for an OM as comfortable on the couch as it is on stage. An Englemann spruce top with scalloped X bracing over East Indian rosewood back and sides gives the guitar a lively balanced tone, with herringbone trim, antique toner and and abalone rosette, plus diamond and square inlays with John’s signature making for an elegant yet understated appearance. Comfortable low profile neck carve with a volute, drop-in saddle, butterbean tuners, and John’s choice of a simple Fishman Gold Plus Natural I pickup allows your dynamics and picking technique to control the output. The guitar sounds great plugged in. Nicely embroidered hardshell case completes the package.

Martin says: “In light of his ever-expanding reputation and fan base, Martin collaborated with John Mayer on the creation of a second namesake guitar, one with many of the same attributes as his first OM-28JM Limited Edition, but one that would be more affordable and more widely available.”
