Old Blood Noise Endeavors Expression Slider Folded - HK

Old Blood Noise Endeavors Expression Slider HK takes the original Expression Slider concept and updates it with a folded metal enclosure that visually matches the rest of the OBNE lineup. This is a great fit for players who want hands-on expression control without needing a full-sized treadle pedal, especially in studio setups, compact boards, or more experimental rigs. The Holey Kids artwork gives it the same creative feel OBNE pedals are known for while keeping the format simple and functional.

At its core, this is a passive expression controller built around a smooth 50K slider. Instead of rocking a treadle, you control parameters with a direct sliding motion, making it especially useful for gradual sweeps, precise adjustments, or quick real-time changes. It works with any pedal using the Old Blood-style TRS expression standard and has been confirmed compatible with a wide range of brands including Chase Bliss, Meris, EarthQuaker Devices, Empress, Red Panda, Strymon, and more.

From a usability standpoint, the compact footprint is a big part of the appeal. It can sit on a desktop, mount to a pedalboard, or even attach to a guitar strap depending on your setup. Since it is completely passive, there is no power required, just connect it with a TRS cable and go. We like this one for players who want a more tactile, space-saving alternative to a traditional expression pedal without losing functionality.
