VINTAGE - This Gretsch 6120 is a great playing and sounding example of the famous Gretsch 6120 guitar. It is the beautiful original Gretsch Western Orange lacquer finish, with the original Gretsch Filter ‘Tron pickups, electronics, and tuners. A Gibson Tune-O-Matic bridge was installed in the early 70s so the guitar would intonate properly (the original Gretsch bar bridge is included). It is fitted with a replacement Gretsch pickguard as the original was crack and is included.
This is a one-owner guitar that was originally purchased in 1967 by Danny Bennett, the son of Tony Bennett, who used this guitar with his band Quacky Duck, who were signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1974. Included is the original Gretsch hardshell case.
